NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF THE STATEMENT OF LICENSING POLICY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 21st day of December 2018 in pursuance of Section 5 of the Licensing Act 2003 the Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council Revised Statement of Licensing Policy for 2019 – 2024 was published.
The Statement of Licensing Policy will have effect from the 7th January 2019.

TAXI FEES INCREASE PROPOSAL 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Sections 53 and 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 (the Act), Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council proposes to vary it’s fees for the granting of licences for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Drivers and Private Hire vehicle licences and Hackney Carriage proprietors licences. If there are no objections to this proposal the fees will come into operation on Monday 1st July 2016. If objections against the variation to fees are made within 28 days of the date of the publication of this notice the matter will be considered by the Council
The Private Hire Vehicle Licence and Hackney Carriage Proprietor’s Fees is to be varied as follows:

Any person wishing to object to the variation to the licence fees should do so in writing, giving full grounds for the objection. A copy of this Notice will be displayed on the Council Website and will be available for viewing without payment during office hours at the aforementioned Civic Centre for the duration of the objection period stated in this Notice.
