Allotments

PLEASE NOTE: Allotments in the Borough are now self-governing and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council no longer controls them, although, the Council does contribute annually towards some of the allotment associations throughout the Borough.

If you don’t have a garden an allotment is a great opportunity for you to grow your own fruit, vegetables or flowers. There are other benefits like getting fresh air and exercise, meeting people and making new friends. So if you've ever fancied trying your hand at gardening why not rent an allotment plot.
